Hi Family and Friends,

Thank you for being so patient with us and for your enthusiasm around our wedding. In an ideal world, we would have loved nothing more than to celebrate with all of you like we had wanted.

As always, your safety and comfort have been at the forefront of our plans. With the situation in the Middle East escalating again, the uncertainty around travel and security continues to persist.

With this in mind, and with a heavy heart, we have decided to cancel the wedding celebrations in Dubai altogether.

We appreciate you holding space for us over these last few months and entertaining the idea of a weekend in Dubai in December, but we respect your time and don’t want to keep you in limbo any longer.

We're incredibly grateful for your love, understanding, and unwavering support and are sorry for all the inconvenience. We look forward to celebrating other life events together with all of you in the near future.

Lots of love,
Surabhi & Jake

Welcome
Back to our wedding website

Thank you for your patience - and for bearing with us through what turned out to be quite the adventure. We are pleased to finally be able to share that we have settled on a new date for our wedding celebration.

For those keeping score at home: yes, we did reschedule three weeks before the original date. In our defence, we had not accounted for a war breaking out in the Middle East in our wedding planning checklist. Apparently, "geopolitical stability" is now on the vendor list alongside flowers and cake.

The good news? We've had a little extra time to make it even more special - and we genuinely cannot wait to celebrate with you.

OUR STORY

Hey there! We're thrilled you're visiting our wedding website.

It all began with a swipe, some witty messages, and a serendipitous meeting at Heathrow Airport - Surabhi arriving from Dubai, Jake dropping off his parents, and fate working its magic.

From casual dinners at Nando's to surprise birthday getaways, sharing countless laughs and discovering new restaurants together - each moment brought us closer. Then, on a sun-drenched day along the Amalfi Coast, Jake proposed, and through happy tears, Surabhi said yes.

Now we're embarking on our biggest adventure yet: a two-day celebration weaving together Indian traditions and English charm. Expect delicious food, meaningful rituals, heartfelt moments, and (of course) plenty of dancing!

We can't wait to share these special days with the people who mean the most to us. See you in Dubai!

With love, Surabhi & Jake
